Make Your SMB an AI Powerhouse

In the business world, 2023 has been the year of artificial intelligence (AI). OpenAI’s ChatGPT — an AI powered language model — experienced the fastest user growth in history reaching 100M users in two months. The success of ChatGPT has drawn in fresh investment into OpenAI from Microsoft to the tune of $10 billion USD. Microsoft’s Bing is now augmented with ChatGPT which has forever changed the Alphabet (Google) dominated search engine business model. Bing with ChatGPT-4 is essentially a free personal AI assistant that has the knowledge of literally everything found on the internet. It makes inferences, recommendations for further reading, and could seemingly teach 95% of high school curriculum. Google’s Bard — Google’s VertexAI powered chat app — is very powerful in its own right and, like Bing with GPT-4, has a staggering knowledge base. There’s thousands of startups and open source communities attempting to ride the AI wave. Open source project AutoGPT is aimed at making OpenAI’s ChatGPT fully autonomous. HealthGPT is an iOS app built with the CardinalKit framework — created by students at Stanford University — that integrates Apple Health and ChatGPT to create a personal health assistant experience right on your IPhone. So what does all of this mean for your SMB? And how can you use AI to add value to your offerings or save resources?

One of the more cost effective methods is building your own embedding application that enables ‘AI text search and analytics’ for your data. What kind of data are we talking about? Any text formatted data you’d want to reference at any given point. Whether using a mobile or non-mobile device, how many times do you find yourself combing through:

  • Emails and attachments
  • Text messages
  • Meeting minutes
  • Customer support forums and FAQ's
  • Compliance guidelines
  • Documentation ie. standard operating procedures, change requests, best practices
  • RFPs, presentations, pitches
  • Training, staff development, reference material
  • HR policies and procedures
  • Papers, school notes
  • Accounting and financial records ie. spreadsheets, account statements, receipts, invoices
  • Or just about anything else

Think about all of your internal processes and documentation used to keep your business running — think employee onboarding, reference materials and presentations for continuous training and staff development, documentation for standard operating procedures and system change requests, internal and external compliance protocols and best practices, internal staff support, external customer support forums, internal accounting and financial records, and more. Think about the resources each category requires. Think about what you would do with the funds you would save if you could reduce 80-95% of the overhead associated with each category. With that kind of efficiency in mind and $ returned to your cash on hand, you could focus forward on the future instead of reacting to the problems of the present.

How much is it worth your business to know exactly how to save 80 — 95% of these overhead costs? How much is it worth to your business to actually implement the strategy?

It almost sounds too good to be true doesn’t it? It does, but it is true. I’ve built analogous solutions for Medicare and PCI DSS compliance documentation to demonstrate this exact strategy.

I am a big believer in giving potential customers something of value for free because it builds solid rapport and increases the probability of future sales. To get your free tutorial and a 95% discount on implementation, please subscribe here.
